Saw you a few days ago over on the MC/PL board and wanted to say I'm so sorry for your losses.  I realized you were from CO and I was wondering what part of CO and where you got your furbaby?  S/he looks just like our girl Bella (whom we got from the CO Puppy Rescue).  Same big ears! Smile

    I am sorry for your loss as well.  I am originally from WA state, but currently live in Longmont, CO.  You?  We adopted Kona, birthday April 11th, 2009, from the Longmont Humane Society in January of this year.  His papers say he was from a shelter in New Mexico.  Wouldn't that be strange if they were related?!?

    We're in Aurora. Smile

    We got Bella in October 2008.  Her papers say Trinidad, CO, but they aren't terribly clear.  They sure do look alike!  I'll have to figure out how to post a photo.

    I just want to say that even though we don't know each other, if you ever need to chat with someone local and vent, just let me know!

    First of all, thank you for offering for chatting and venting.  I may take you up on that offer!  Aurora...hmmm...I still consider myself new here even though I've lived here for more than 3 years...but how far away is that from Longmont?

    If you want to put a pic of her in your siggy, here are directions:

    1.  Go to www.tinypic.com

    2.  Browse your pictures to upload one.

    3.  Resize it!  A good size is thumbnail.  (My pics are that size.)

    4.  Click Upload Now!

    5.  Copy the HTML for Websites code.

    6.  Go into your profile (click on your avatar).

    7.  Above your Avatar, click Edit my Avatar.

    8.  Paste the code in your Signature.

    Wow!  Thanks for the instructions.  I will try to find a good photo of her tomorrow and see if I can get it to work.

    Aurora is about 45 min to an hour away from Longmont.  I'm about 20 minutes south of DIA.  Since you're quasi-new to CO, how do you like it?

    So you're not far at all!  DIA is my best friend lately.  Going there tomorrow actually to drop my sister off.  Then I'll go and pick up my mom a few days after Christmas.  Then I'll go and drop her off!  hahaha!

    I like it...but I REALLY miss my friends and family in WA.  I miss the water...I miss the evergreen trees.  But I love the sun and I love this December weather we're having!  I also love being with my hubby - the reason I'm here!
