You know, that stuff they say to take at the first sign of flu--it's homeopathic. Well, it says talk to your healthcare prof if you are pregnant--so I did and he looked at me like I was nuts----hadn't heard of the stuff, didn't think it would work and said call the company to see if it's safe. LOL So I turn to the "real" experts.......you ladies. Gotta love modern medicine.
I "think" I took it while BFing my son, but never while pregnant. Has anyone asked their OB about it?
I feel so achy today with a slight sore throat and just "off"---and wonder if maybe I'm coming down with something---so that was the first thing I thought of.
Re: Has anyone used Oscillococcinum while pregnant??
I've never heard of it sorry. When I'm started to feel under the weather I usually start drinking emerge c once a day for a couple of days and feel much better. I would think it would be safe b/c its just Vit C and B Vitamins.
Hope you feel better soon!
Homeopathic remedies are totally safe during pregnancy. I'm a nutritionist and work with many alternative practitioners (Naturopathic docs etc). This site mentions taking it at the first sign of colds/flus: https://www.pregnancy.org/article/preventing-colds-and-flus
