Update on that kid that made that nasty comment yesterday.

For those who followed my thread of the kid telling the teacher who covered my class while I was on a field trip:  "I hope the bus crashes and she dies"

 I left a message on the parent's phone.  I wrote a referral ( to at least document it).

I spoke to the child privately.  He denied it completely!  He was like "I didn't say that".  Then he said "What I said was I hope the bus gets lost and never comes back"  After a few more moments with him, trying to get him to admit it, he said "I'm not going to admit it". 

Really? You just got caught by saying "I won't admit it"

When I told him I wrote a referral because of it, he said "No! My parents are going to send me to military school!"

Not a bad idea!

    Ugh. I hate when kids try to lie in order to "defend" themselves. Put your big boy pants on and just admit it!!

    Whoa...the kid sounds extra creepy....like a few years away from a unibomber BSC. Hope his parents intervene!

    I'm not going to admit it... jeez dumbass you just did! I hope the kids parents do send him to military school, sounds like he needs some strong discipline!

    I hate that bad kids get threatened to be sent to military school.  The military can do better than asshats like that kid.  (Disclaimer: DH is military so I'm a little biased)
