I have a good handle on the gifts from the fat man and us, but am lacking on the stocking stuffers. I am shopping after work, and am looking for ideas other than our standard (orange, socks, candy).
both will get note pads and dr suess pencils for drawing. scented fat pencils, a little chocolate, a striped peppermint sucker, spinbrush (yes, they've been asking for a spinbrush)
dd - pink sequin hat and plastic "peace" bracelet, a necklace that's a guitar with a few "gems" on it (stuff from her fund raiser book , actually the hat an bracelet were a set for what she "won" selling what she did... but she has no clue about the prizes). hello kitty chap stick.
ds- couple of matchbox cars, this squiggly squishy bug toy (his prize from the fund raiser) and a helicopter thing that you put the thing on and pull the trigger and it flies off (again, prize from the fund raiser). and something else... ????? I cannot remember.
you could add new crayons and small coloring books (look in the $ store), maybe a new canteen (they have those thin long ones in the grocery store). sunglasses, mittens, new ornaments, little mini figures like polly pocket or the small versions of buzz and woody. candycanes.
oh and bad me... before dc knew about happy meal prizes , I'd ask for the toddler one and put it away until Christmas .. put it in the stocking. we didn't go often.. maybe 2 or 3 little toys over the year.
I've also done bath toys (the letters/numbers, or duckies, or the soap crayons and bubble bath).
The boys are each getting a DVD, a jibbitz bracelet filled with jibbitz (to wear on crocs later), and a candy cane filled with m&m's. I might get them each a new train as well.
Each are getting a DVD, one of those m&m filled candy canes, play packs from Target $1, stickers, books, and character band-aids. TB (boy) is also getting wooden airplanes, an electric toothbrush, Cars magnets, and Toy Story 3 watch. ML (girl) is getting undies, character pencils and stamps, and a little wallet.

Kaden William 11/4/06 and Dawson Michael 6/30/10
Dawson's first birthday - at the zoo
Mine are getting mostly necessities- undershirts, socks, hats, gloves, chapstick, a reese's xmas tree, xmas sucker...
They get "fun" stockings at four other places and I can only handle so many miniature toys!

Oh! And spin brushes. They've been asking for them forever!

Good ideas! I may steal them... except I couldn't wait and I already put her ornament on the tree.
