I think she looks fine. I am actually glad to see celebrities that don't look stick skinny while pg because for so many women that isn't the norm. I agree though that she probably did fertility treatments.

However I don't think someone, celebrity or not, should have to be open about it. It is such a personal thing and it is their right to keep if secret if they want.

What upset me about JLo was when she talked bad about IF treatments and how she would never do them. That pissed me off.

I didn't say I believed her, but she was very quick to deny it. Yet another reason why she and J-Lo are nothing to look up to, but sadly some ppl do.

I watched a special on her when she announced her pregnancy and she flat out denied using ART to conceive. She does admit to taking progesterone since hers was wonky. Whatevs. I can't stand her or her 12 year old husband.

It's not like I think celebs should have to admit to ART but when you're 40, already had a m/c and you admit to some fertility issues, it is really unbelievable that twins were spontaneously conceived.

ditto waitwhat. And I agree, everyone is entitled to their privacy, but a celebrity has such a great opportunity to educate others about infertility, I just wish more of them would be more open about their infertility or actively advocate for infertility issues. I wish it wasn't such a taboo subject or one that people are embarrassed or ashamed to talk about.

I also think it gives the general public the false impression that having babies at 40+ is a common occurrence. I know people IRL who really think waiting until 40+ to have kids isn't a big deal b/c celebrities have kids after 40 "all the time". ::::sigh::::

What's wrong with the way she looks? Not trying to be snarky, but she looks fine and happy to me - I'm pretty shocked by the comments about her appearance (maybe just because I have some extra pounds myself, I don't know).

I can't pip because I'm on my phone but I cannot stand the fact that she's getting huge in the belly but still seems to think it's okay to wear these skimpy little dresses. I don't care if she's a celeb. You're pg and personally I don't want to see any pg lady wearing an outfit that's so short your who-ha is about to POP out. Inappropriate.

Look Mariah was never a thin girl to begin with, even back in the day when she was singing "someday" and married to Tommy Mottola she was curvaceous, but not stick thin.

I don't think everyone should be a stick with a bump. But she's got all the money in the world and access to a stylist. Do you honestly mean to tell me this dress (which looks like the human equivalent to a christmas ball) is the best she could do? It does *nothing* to flatter her figure and she looks frumpy.

I've seen several pictures of her throughout this pregnancy that are entirely unflattering because she's either wearing a mumu with an oddly placed bow (see photo above) or she's wearing clothes which clearly are the wrong size for her new, pregnant body and instead of looking like she's having two babies, she looks like she ate two babies instead.

I'm all for people having different shapes and appreciating them for what they are, but at least dress to flatter the shape that you have.

I thought that I'd read she said she used acupuncture and "hormones". Not sure what the hormones were that she was referring to. Aren't twins more common in older moms though because of egg quality?

It would be nice if she was more clear about what they had done if she's going to completely deny that she used ART.

I had read something like this as well. I assumed by her statement (if she is telling the truth) that she did something similar to me (either clomid, femara or injectables with TI). Maybe not. I agree that her clothing choices have always been "off" though I think that started way before pregnancy. When I saw her wearing those big dresses early on in her pregnancy I thought she might be hiding her stomach. Honestly when I was first pg I did the same thing. I am not skinny where a little bump or bloat automatically looks like a cute pg belly. I just looked fat. I would have HATED being in the public eye and people wondering if I was pg. Especially after having a m/c. Can't really blame her for that. I do agree she wears really short dresses. I just think her style isn't that great.
