Help! Diaper rash cream related!

I just returned from daycare, I go everyday at lunch to nurse my son.  I noticed an odor of diaper cream wafting from his booty and asked his caretaker if she had put diaper cream on him (I've told them all no reg cream with cloth and I have disposables if he needs cream).  She put diaper rash cream on him and a thirsties duo, ugh...so what do I need to do to make this diaper usable again?  I have some CJ BUTTer on order but it hasn't come in yet thats why we have backup disposables for rashes.

    I haven't ad this happen, but I have heard Dawn and a toothbrush will get it out.
