I hate most holiday music. Probably from working in retail one too many holiday season and having to suffer through every rendition of frosty the snowman and rudolph imaginable.
But, I do love xmas music from the 40s. We're having a holiday party on Saturday. Wondering if I should just put on the 40s station on sirius or just make a playlist on my ipod. Do you find old-school xmas music annoying?
Re: what holiday music do you like?
Most of the holiday music I hear on the local radio drives me insane. I think just because it is the same stuff year after year.
I have been loving some of the holiday stations on Pandora. I like the peacful holidays one and the jim brickman holiday (mostly instrumental). I also have listened to the Casting Crowns Christmas album (Peace on Earth) over and over this year.
I love 40's Christmas music.
This year, my favorite Christmas music is the Sufjan Stevens album. I've been listening to it over and over... time for something new, though, I think.
Bing Crosby is my favorite. Recently though I've been listening to the Glee Christmas cd and I'm kinda loving it.
