I think of Langston Hughes immediately also...but I don't think it's a bad name. I really don't think it goes with Kinsley though, but that doesn't bother everyone.

I think it's a great name, pairs nicely, and seems to have a nice formal sound, yet you can have all sorts of uncommon nicknames for him, too: Lane, Langs, or more traditional ones like Gus and Tony [for Anthony].

Langston is a bit of a moutful for a first name. It requires the tongue to contort in weird ways.
It's just begging for a nn...and sadly I can't think of any nns for Langston that would work. (Langie, Lang?)
I like the Anthony part.
