Sibling names/middle name? (Honesty encouraged)

DH and I "plan" on having 4 children, and we do realize that "plan" may change over time. With our DD we were team green, had both a girl and boy name picked out as soon as we found out we were pregnant, and stuck with both the whole way.

That being said, and with hopes of starting TTC soon for #2, we were chatting about names for another girl (we are still stuck on our original boy name) and just came up with our "entire future family" name list. (Just going by the 4 kiddo's = 2 boys and 2 girls, but obviously knowing that we can't choose that.)

Here's our list. Do they seem to go together well? And are the 2 girl names too matchy? Also, can't decide on a MN for a second girl... Any suggestions?

DD#1 (Already born) - Avea Rayne - Siblings would "be" - Wynn Alexander, Callia _____ , and Levi Bradley

  • I like Levi Bradley a lot. Wynn can't quite get behind, but I like Alexander. I do think that Callia is pretty close to Avea; closer than I would like.

  • I actually like your names a lot! They are different (not a fan of trendy names) without being just plain odd. Good Picks!

    This.

Levi is my brothers name and DS's mn. I love it.

  • I like Levi.  Avea and Callia sound similar to me (maybe I am pronouncing them wrong).  Wynn makes me think of Winn Dixie....not a fan, especially for a boy.

The Callia - Avea closeness was my concern, I keep going back and forth on if it's closer than I like or not, so I appreciate someone else's opinion as well! Thanks.

Thank you both. We're not a huge fan of trendy names either, so I'm glad others agree with our choices, because that's exactly what we were going for - "different" but not "odd."

Levi is one of our all time favorite boy names also, your little guy is a cutie too!

I think you are pronouncing them correctly, because they do sound similar, and that was the issue I did have with them. Also, I can definitely see where you are coming from with Wynn reminding you of Winn Dixie, as well as making you think of a girl... But we do actually know quite a few Wynns personally, and they are all males, and that's how we actually fell in love with the name in the first place. Thank you though, I do appreciate your advice.
