Thank you all for your kind words and support.  I called the doc back yesterday to tell them the cramps and bleeding were worsening (they were) and they told me to go to the ER.  I'm still upset that they wouldn't see me... but off I went, I felt that if that was the only way I could get some answers I would deal with the extra expense and waiting.  Hours and hours later, and after an ultrasound, sonogram, vaginal exam and bloodwork, they dated me at 5w2d and informed me that my cervix was open and my beta was 12.  So I guess that's it for this time.  I'm so, so sad but am trying to look at the bright side, that at least we got pregnant, and although this one didn't stick, maybe my chances aren't shot for baby #2.  I will have follow up beta tomorrow and hopefully the OB will actually SEE me to make sure that the miscarriage is complete.  Siggghhh.  Not the news I hoped for, but not a surprise either, considering how much was going on yesterday morning.  I have to say too, that this all makes me even more thankful for DD and that my pregnancy with her was blessedly uneventful.

    I am really sorry. It's not easy.. take some time for yourself.  To give you some hope I got pregnant the month after my early m/c with my 2nd son!

    Welcome to our club, sadly. A lot of us have had early MCs and there's nothing anyone can say to make you feel any better. My advice--Give yourself plenty of time to grieve and rest before you get back into the baby-making frame of mind. Hopefully your body will bounce back very quickly and another BFP is headed your way.

    I'm so sorry to hear this - am glad you were able to get some answers for the ER.  Yes, follow up with the OB and make sure everything looks good for the next one.  Will keep sending positive wishes your way.......

    I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope your OB is accommodating with a follow-up.  If not, perhaps look into a new doctor? But I hope you don't need that.

    I?m really sorry for your loss but it?s good you got an answer.
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    Oh, I'm so, so sorry. I haven't been around in a couple of days and didn't see your earlier post.  Ow, I'm sorry. The chemical I had last week gives me a tiny bit of insight, but I only had about 2 days of thinking things were good and I already knew something was wrong the second of those days. What an awful feeling after such a high.  Huge hugs.
