New to the area!

Hi. Just moved here, living in Alexandria and having our first in March.  Any suggestions for pregnancy classes and prenatal yoga (for non-yogi's) would be great! Looking forward to getting out with the little one once he or she comes!!

    Welcome to the area.  I didn't take prenatal yoga, but I remember folks talking about the classes at Virginia Hospital Center as an affordable and good prenatal option.  

    What kind of birth are you hoping to have.  Local classes run the gamut for 1 day classes at the hospital (they also offer ones over multiple evenings) to Bradley, Birthworks, Hypnobirthing, etc.

    welcome! Pure Prana in Old Town has a prenatal class. Also, I think Inova Alexandria might have a yoga class and they definitely have childbirth and child care classes.
