Opinion on boys name

Grayson/Greyson David.

My H LOVES this name - I'm on the fence - I'd prefer something more traditional but he shoots down everything but this. He also likes Gray/Gey for a nickname and I"m not sure about that either. Thoughts?

    I'm glad you have it as a boy's name (because I know girls with this name -ick) but I have to say it's far too trendy for my taste.

    I really like this! I think Grayson is very cute and sounds handsome for a man. I also like Gray for a nn :-)

    I can't make up my mind whether I like it or not.

    I do prefer the spelling of Grayson rather than Greyson (this just looks weird).

    I probably wouldn't nickname it. Not a fan of "Gray" for a name. Not to mention, it's just asking for teasing on the playground since it's too close to "Gay", which as we know, is excellent fodder for every 9-14 year old.

    This. Additionally, I would have the concern with spelling, as you have both options even included in this post.

    It is actually one of the names we are considering for DS.  

     

    My only issue with it is some people tend to pronounce it Grace-un instead of Gray-son. Putting more emphasis on "Grace".

    I love Grayson, as a matter of fact it's the only name DH & I can agree on for our 3rd son due in February!!!

    I think it's what we are going with, now just to decide on a mn!! I

    I wouldn't consider this name just because there are so many girls named Graycin/Gracen and other spelling travesties.

    I cant really decide if I like it or not either ... I think its ok.

    Definitely Grayson ..... I really dont like NN... and Gray is not a good one. GL

    I love Grayson!

    I actually know someone approaching 70 with the name! I think it is just surging in popularity recently. The nn Gray is okay.
