I was always an avid exerciser. I've been slacking a bit this fall.... depressed a bit due to TTTC. I had an early loss last pregnancy so when I got my BFP this time I did not want to work out until I saw my maternal/fetal doctor. She gave me the ok...but now with my laziness/fatigue I am finding it difficult to get back into my old routine.
I am so dissapointed in myself...I really want to maintain a healthy weight gain. I do NOT lose weight easily so I am scared to get out of control and not be able to lose the weight

ditto. i worked out 3x a week with a trainer and 2x a week of cardio on my own prior to my BFP... and now i lack all motivation and just want to go home and sleep after work.
i can't wait for my energy level to spike again...

I go to yoga class once a week, and try to go at least a few other times a week to do the elliptical, recumbant bike or go for a walk. Its so hard with being so tired, but I figure I'll get back into it in the 2 tri. At this point if I am tired I just sit on the couch - listening to my body, right?
BTW: My yoga teacher is super experienced and knowlegdable on prenatal yoga, and she said for me not to worry about any of the yoga poses until the 20th week. I'm not sure if that just meant her class or all yoga, but I thought it was interesting. it definitely made me less fearful.
When I got my BFP I had just signed up for and started training for a half marathon in February. After reading your heartrate should not go above 140 I decided to stop training. My heart skyrockets when I run
I told myself I was going to walk for an hour each day but do to the cold and fatigue I have not gone at all this week. I am really worried about gaining weight and not being able to loose it so I need to get my butt in gear.
I'm really trying to make sure I get in at least 30 minutes of exercise 3-4 times/week. I take a Zumba class every Thursday, which I love, though like a PP I've toned down the bouncing and jumping a little bit. I used to jog but now am ellipticalling instead, as it's less impact. I'm also planning to sign up for a prenatal yoga class after the holidays.
One of my instructors at the gym told me the same thing, especially since I've been going frequently. I usually do a combination of spin/body pump/abs classes at the gym but after I return from holidays I plan to just hit the elliptical for half an hour, the seated bike for an hour, or very light weights. I was also thinking of joining an aquafit class because I have read it is one of the best options and can be done throughout pregnancy!

I've been "kinda" working out. I agree when you're tired and sickly it's hard to get the energy. All I've done the last 2 weeks is a light 20 min workout video 3 times a week. It isn't much but better than nothing I suppose. I intend to get a little better.

However, I bought Lindsey Brinn's complete pregnancy workout DVD set (It has a 1st trimester, 2nd and 3rd 30 min DVD plus a post baby boot camp DVD) I want to get into that - but like you said the energy hasn't been there
Hopefully soon!

I am in the same boat as you. I sort of slacked off when I had my miscarriage in September and just never really got back on track. My big plan is to go to the gym five days a week to walk and do light weights and eventually some prenatal yoga.
However, I'm a big slacker with Christmas coming and haven't gotten off my butt to do it! The tightness around my waistband isn't just bloat I have a feeling.
I also need to get my eating back under control - every since Thanksgiving...
