I wonder if physical milestones come in spurts. It happened when Tristan learned how to roll over and it looks like it is happening again:
1. Monday, found out from Day Care that Tristan had been cruising for about a week although I thought he he wasn't mobile. Went home that night, put an ottomon in the middle of the living room and it was cruise city.
2. Tuesday. Tristan's top tooth cut through (I know, not really related but coincidenta)l. He started standing up in his tub trying to climb out of it duirng his night time bath. Later that night we found him standing up in his crib for the first time (really freaked me out)/
3.Pick up Tristan from Day care for the night and found out that he crawled for the first time!. I was conveinced that he wouldn't crawl because he loves to stand and pull himself up so much. He also hates tummy time so I thought we'd go from cruising to walking at some point. I get home and watch him do the most interesting half crawl/half walk on all fours that I've ever seen.
and we are only half way through the week...

I have been wondering the same thing. Two months ago, Miller could barely sit up on his own. Now he is sitting, standing, cruising, crawling, and babbling. All of this has started fairly recently.
Yay for our busy boys!
Not sure I'd call it a spurt. But once they figure out something, they start testing those boundaries and other things come along very quickly.
C took his first tentative steps on Saturday. He's already trotting all the way across the living room and into the hall without stopping.
