I'm thinking about taking a less conventional approach to delivery and am contemplating delivering at a birthing center and possibly even doing a water birth. (I have a low-risk pregnancy.) Does anyone have any experiences with either that they could share? Positive or negative experiences welcome!
Re: Anyone used a birthing center or done a water birth?
Here's the link to my recent waterbirth VBAC:

FWIW, I now plan on having waterbirths for future babies. I just cannot imagine giving birth any other way! Hardest work my body has ever experienced, but 100% completely worth it! Feel free to PM me if you want more specifics than I provided in my birth story post

VBAC Birth Story 2VBAC Birth Story
My first was a natural birth in a hospital. I will never give birth in a hospital again barring very unusual circumstances. My hospital birth story was in my bio, but I'm not sure if it still is.
Anyway, my second was a natural birth at a birth center in a birth tub. It was 1 million times better than the hospital birth. I am too lazy to type all the specifics out right now, but if you have specific questions I would be happy to answer them.
I'm pregnant for the third (and final) time and will be having another birth center birth, probably in the birth tub again.
Hospital natural birth with DS and it was fine, just not the experience I wanted.
birth center with DD and while I didn't make it to the tub (almost didn't make it there) it was so much more what I was looking for. The midwifery care is so different and personal from an OB. They never treat you like your sick just pregnant. They let you do what you need to do labor and deliver your baby. They follow your lead not the other way around. Going to have our 3rd baby with the same birth center.
