James was my grandad who passed away quite some time ago. He always had a soft spot for me (first grandaughter) and took early retirement to fly out to Canada to spend a few months with me.
Frederick is DH's grandad. I guess he wanted to jump on the bandwagon too?
You know our last name, which I think goes pretty well with it all.
(P.S. Are you utterly swamped with girl clothes yet?)

My miracle, James Frederick born May 2, 2011 via C-section
I think it's perfect, the meaning is sweet and I think it's a great name for a boy and for a man.
Well done!
(I've been pretty good...four feetie PJs and then the most adorable little two piece that has a tutu. I'm a sucker for a tutu. Oh, and booties. And a hat. And more to come I'm sure.)
*sigh* I've been bidding all night on some baby Hurley hoodies, just because they're awesome. Aaaaand I may have gone out and bout 10 or so onesies. Because, you know... i've been waiting to shop for ages now. And i can make it into a baby clothing section without sobbing like a lunatic

I had a meltdown over onesies because I didn't understand
1) The sizing - so NB isn't the same as 0-3 mo, apparently.
2) How do I use them? With the little pant things? Under the PJs?
I literally threw down a package of onesies and had to go hyperventilate (sp?) in my car.
My mom is going with me next time, since I clearly have no idea what I'm doing.

No NB is not the same, and don't go by the weight recs because NB is supposed to be up to 8 lbs but Jax was 9lb3oz and wore them until about 3-4wks. So definitely get some NB items.
Jax hasn't used hardly any onsies BUT he's a fall baby and didn't have long until it started getting cold, plus I keep my house like an icebox so he has lived in his sleepers!! But there have been a few warm days or when I had him at someone elses house that kept it warmer and I had him in a onesie and nothing else. I don't like the onesie with pants unless it's a footed pant because I hate putting socks on him (without shoes), mainly because he's only got 4 toes on his right foot and the foot is more narrow so the socks fall off easily.
You can just put her in a onesie by itself or with pants, you can swaddle her at night in just a onesie. In my siggy Jax is in a long sleeve onesie with jeans and a polo over it. But you can just put her in the sleepers with just a diaper on, there are also fleece sleepers if she's too cold in the cotton ones!
