durham winter weather - OB appointment in AM - WWYD

Starting around 3 AM we are expected to have a mix of snow/sleet/icy conditions. Already most schools around here are shutting down for tomorrow.

I have an OB appointment at 10:30 tomorrow...I assume they will stay open (but who knows - last year in Alabama when it iced a lot of clinics closed too). I have a babysitter coming to watch DS who will have to leave her house in the middle of all of this mess.

WWYD? Should I just tell her to be in touch in the AM depending on how bad it looks? I don't want to put her at risk, but I really need to make this appointment and I'd rather not take DS (pap smear).

    That would be my plan. Just wait & see what the weather does, then make your decision.

    Same as what BTP said. I would call the office first thing when they open and then see what happens. I've found usually the offices will be open, I think I had that happen to me a few times with my daughter.
