Hello (again) TTCAL ladies,
I just want to state the obvious: it is sad that this board has to exist, but on the other hand, I am also grateful. I believe there are many women who need the amazing support (and the comic relief sometimes) that I have only seen on this board. I am one of those women.
I first joined this board sometime in late August/early September after our first miscarriage. I then (quietly) left in November and just found out a week ago today that I lost that baby too. We are heartbroken again. It does seem more difficult this 2nd time...especially after seeing the heartbeat two weeks ago. We obviously have not been cleared to TTC as of yet, although I strangely feel ready to. We will have our follow-up appointment in mid January to discuss recurrent loss testing. Does anyone have experience they want to share regarding that testing?
Re: (re) introduction
I am so, so sorry you are back. Big ((hugs))
All I can speak to for testing is the SA--which DH had done last week. We're in the process of waiting for my testing to be scheduled since his results were fine.

Hi there,
I am so, so sorry that you have to come back. I saw your post on the mc/pl board.
I also had my second mc in November. The second was harder in a lot of ways. I guess for me it was because easy to understand it being just one of those things that happens the first time. But the second time it just really feels unfair and like a huge punch in the gut.
My dr. did the RPL. They determined that I had MTHFR. They said that is "could" be the reason for the losses. They gave me a somewhat simple treatment plan for it. So, hears to hoping that brings me a sticky baby.
Again, I am sorry and I hope that you are able to get the support you need here.
