Used to STTN now DS wakes up between 2 am and 4 am !! Help

I dont know why but from about 2 months - 4 months, DS slept through the night (for the most part)

Now he is up and awake anytime between 2 am and 4 am and does not want to sleep. Doesnt seem to be hungry but he either wants to play or cries if we do not go to him but either way does not sleep...

Anything we can do?

Its called the 4 month wakeful period, its tons fun

If I remember correctly, it has to do w. your baby being more cognizant and when he wakes up in the middle of the night he remembers you and his papa and wants to be with you. So on the upside, your LO is right on time with his brain development! On the downside, yah no sleep. People have different theories on how to handle this. CIO, always go to him, CIO for 10 minutes, crib toys, bunch of stuff. My LO will go back to sleep if we give him his pacifier, but its gotten to be like 5-7 times a night. KILLIN US!

Not sure, my lil guy is 5 months and 1 week and still doing it. I hope soon, really really soon. I want sleeeeepppp

My little guy used to STTN also and has been waking between 4-5:30 to eat. He luckily eats quickly and goes right back to sleep, but still! He is also doing this thing where he goes to sleep and then about 45 minutes later he wakes up crying and won't go back to sleep unless I feed him (he normally takes less than 1/2 an ounce to go back to sleep). I think they call it the 45 min intruder and it has something to do with their sleep cycles. Good times!
