Are bright red cheeks something to worry about? He doesn't have a fever, it's only about 72 in our house, he was just sitting playing when all of a sudden his cheeks were bright red. This may be a silly question, it just took me by surprise how red they were. TIA

    has he been outside at all?...DD gets red cheeks because its so cold and windy out. and it doesnt always go away right away

    Maybe he was just playing hard.  If I run my cheeks turn bright red and stay that way for an hour or two after.

    Are they chapped? If not, I wouldn't worry. If they are I would just lotion them.

    My first thought was chapped cheeks from the cold... but you said he hasn't been outside. My friend's son always gets red cheeks when he's teething. Could it be that?
