Re: ok... I officially feel huge!

  • Yep.  I wore a red sweater yesterday and DH referred to me as a Christmas tree bulb.  I have a bump in the front and an ever expanding butt in the back.  Sigh.  At least DH loves it.

  • LOL psychgal. And trp, yes, I am feeling massive at this point too. 16 pounds is a lot for my body and the belly is really expanding outward at this point. Some of the shirts I was using for 2nd trimester will no longer quite cover everything! And let's not discuss shaving down there... (at this point, I can't see anymore). I guess I should concentrate on the basics -- it's hard enough lifting my knees to put my pants on!

I agree. Bending over whether it be to just pick something up or to put pants on has become like a mission! I've put on 33lbs. I attempt to push my belly out of the way to shave then just say screw it. all i can do at this point is laugh.

  • Same here.  I'm only up 14lbs but I feel gigantic.  I haven't gained any weight in the last two weeks, but I'm definitely expanding regardless.  I feel like there's a basketball up my shirt.  And its starting to put pressure on my pelvis, tailbone, hips and labia.  Sometimes I think about 9 more weeks and it seems like the baby is coming really soon, but when I'm feeling like this, 9 weeks sounds like a long time!
  • I looked at myself in the mirror last night and realized that I am the same size right as I was with DS at 39wks. and I still have another 9wks to go about. I just can;t fathom that I can get any bigger and I worry about getting bigger and being able to take DS to daycare in the morning. If I can't drive him there then how am I going to be albe to handle him during the day alone if I am that big?
