Graco Lauren crib- honest reviews

I am considering the Graco Lauren crib because I love the simple look it has. I am thinking of pairing it with the Hemnes dresser from Ikea. I guess I am just curious if you have been happy with the Graco Lauren, or if you know of any other cribs out there that look nice with the Hemnes black/brown dresser? Thank you!!!

Do not get the dropside version of this crib...it's probably not on the market anymore, but if it is, don't get it. Otherwise, it's a good crib. I ended up not using the bumper because I couldn't get it to tie on right without looking stupid, but I don't know if that was a function of the crib design or the bumper. Also, it's been a little difficult to attach crib toys, you can only do in on the ends, but that's been a minor issue for me.

My husband and I decided on the Graco Lauren and just put it together last week. So far I can say that it is really sturdy and hubs says its well built, which was a concern being that I had to order it sight unseen online. I also read that some people had a hard time finding a tight fitting mattress for it, so I ordered the mattress paired with it on walmart's website and am also very happy with it (I had budgeted to spend over $100 on a mattress, and ended up spending only $36) I was worried it was going to be "cheap", but so far I feel like its firm and does fit perfectly. So while I havent actually used it yet, so far I feel like it was a great purchase for a great price.

I just got it in white and I LOVE it. It's sturdy and does look more expensive than it was.

DH had NO problem purtting it together -- it was much easier than we expected to assemble it!

My one minor complaint was about the piece that lays flat across the bottom... you know, the long piece that the mattress lays on? Well, when attached at the highest level it made my crib sheet hang funny.

Anyone else notice that with the Graco Lauren?

Still, it was not that big of a deal.

That's the combo we have and I really love it. I think they look great together. And the Hemnes is the perfect height for changing.

I was going to buy the Graco Lauren crib, however I noticed in the stores that is scratches really easily. I scratched the one in the store just by running my finger nail over it (with some slight pressure). So that was a deterent for me, because I figured that it would get beaten up pretty easy. But lots of people have bought it and love it!

Yep, I did the same thing. I noticed the white one scratches less than the wood ones though. If I were to get the Lauren, I'd only get it in white.

My parents have the Graco Lauren for LO at their house and we love it. I wish I would have saved the money I spent on the expensive crib and gone with the Lauren instead. We also use the Hemnes in our nursery for the changing table and it is the perfect height and holds just exactly what we need.

We have it in white and so far I love the way it looks and it is sturdy. I would recommend it since it is such a great price.

I love it! We have moved it 2x and it has held up and still looks brand new. We will be using it for #2!
