One item I never see suggested thats a must!

Since everyone is always asking what they need to get to prepare I thought I would throw this in :)  Extra binkys/nuks/pacifiers if you use them.  And I mean a LOT!  DD1 is constantly stealing them and hiding them/throwing them under couches, over gates, etc.  I thought it was bad always losing them with just one but now that I have a little thief to steal them on top of the usual mishaps I feel like were always down to our last one!

    Lol..I found this to be a problem, too. I bought 4 pacifiers and quickly realized we were having trouble keeping up with them. I ended up getting 7 more - I'm hoping that will do it. I also find that I need a few extra clips for attaching them to the clothes/carseat.

    I bought DD2 a completely different brand of paci than DD1 used and DD1 doesn't really take those ones - she'll actually bring it to DD2 if she sees one somewhere. But recently I bought DD2 some Nuks (that DD1 did use) and I couldn't even get them out of the package before DD1 was begging for it and she steals them from DD2 all the time! Haha! Guess I need to go find more brands that DD1 isn't familiar with to give to DD2 :)

    same here. DS brings them to DD. The few that looked like his that he uses at night he would try and put in his mouth.

    The same thing happened to us.. but the funny thing is, DS1 never took a paci! But all of the sudden he is stealing DS2's and putting it in his mouth! I can tell he doesn't like to actually suck on it, but I just find it funny. He does it to get a rise out of us!
