and I am utterly heartbroken. My brother and SIL went today for their first ultrasound and learned that their LO was gone. They had not told anyone they were PG, were waiting untill after todays appt. She is scheduled for a D&C on Thursday morning.
I shamefully admit I was terrified that they would get PG before we did again, unsure of how to handle it - this was an unexpected surprise, the kind of gift you don't even know how bad you want it until you have it, but now that I know I am just heartbroken for them and for the loss of my neice or nephew.
And I hate that there is nothing I can do or say to take their pain away, I know that because there was nothing anyone could do or say for me, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to be able to do it for them.
I feel like I am rambling excessively right now..I am just shocked and sad and so damn angry that this has happened to someone else I love.

You are right..thank you Jen..I needed to be reminded that just being there for someone when they need you is bigger then anything else.

I think I will..she is not a huge computer person, she just doesn't like to sit still for very long! But I have told her how much they have helped me, so I think I will just mention it to her in a few days as a potential place for support if nothing else.

Me either..I lurked quite a bit beginning after we first started trying and more after our first loss, but it was not until Conner that I opened up and it has been incredibly helpful.
I am so very sorry ((((hugs))))
Lots of thoughts and prayers for your family.
