Biting themselves when teething?

Anyone else's LO do this? I'm sure Sydney can't be the only one, right?

She has made marks on her forearm where she bites when she gets really angry about her teeth. They go away after a few hours, but wtf... she is biting hard enough to leave marks? I try to give her something else like a teething ring or a washcloth, but she is just mad and frustrated and takes it out on her arm.

I hope these two come in soon. She has been really uncomfortable for more than a week now.

  • Which are they?

  • Bottom - next to the middle two. Been waiting on them for the longest. We saw bumps and redness about two weeks ago and they seem like they are "right there" but you know how that goes. Right now, she still only has two on the bottom and four on the top.

  • You are so not alone - Ellie does the same thing right before the teeth finally break through.  It looks so horrible and must hurt, since it leave teeth marks, but I can give her a frozen teether, plastic, wooden, and she always seems to go back to her forearm Crying

  • D is a thumbsucker and I noticed she gnaws on her thumb sometimes. She is working on her incisors.
