Who all has their 1st appt this week?

Mine is tomorrow and I'm SO nervous! I definitely was not this nervous the first time around. I guess it's because I now know how much can go wrong. I'm super paranoid...and also kind of nervous about how my OB is going to react to my getting pregnant again so soon. (DD is 5 months old). I know it happens all the time...but still. I'll just feel so much better once I see the hb and (hopefully) hear that everything is ok. Smile

Who else has an appt soon?

    I wish!  I went in at 4 wks to confirm, see a nurse at 8 wks, and will see the OB sometime after that.  Hopefully in the 1st tri.  :(

    GL tomorrow!  My first appt isn't until the week of Jan 17th!  The reason is that my OB likes the first appt to be around the 7-8 week mark to make sure we can see the HB, but she is going to be on vacation in early January and I preferred to wait for her to return rather than see another OB for the first appointment.  I have gone to her for my other pregnancies and I would rather wait (I am going to be so anxious though!).  Keep us posted on your appt.

    I have mine on Friday and am praying that we see a little blinking star!!!! So scared that there will be nothing there!

    My first appointment is tomorrow.  They said its just "orientation" to meet the doctor and stuff so I'm not sure what they will do. 

    I have been having some pains so I'm hoping they may do in an internal US to make sure its viable.

    I would think they would...most dr's offices do at least.

    I just had mine yesterday! No U/S, but still exciting as they confirmed the pregnancy and my OB answered my millions of questions. I feel more reassured now and less freaked out! I've had a lot of cramping and was worrying about that. Can't wait for my first U/S on January 4!!

    My first ultrasound is set for this friday with my RE. I've had 4 betas at this point and *knock on wood* everything is still looking good! I'm just praying friday goes smoothly.

    I'm sad my first appt isn't until Jan 28th!!  I will be 11 weeks at that time so they will do the Nuchal Cord Transluceny test the same day.

    I have my first u/s tomorrow.  I'll feel much better when (fingers crossed) we see that there really is a baby in there.

    My first appointment is on Friday.  It is just with the nurse going over health history, education and that type of thing.  I work 12 hour nights and the appointment is after work so I hope I am not falling asleep :-P

    Mine is tomorrow too! I'm getting blood drawn and seeing my OB. I know it's too early for an U/S but I hope I get to schedule mine!! Good luck to everyone!!!! :)

    I have my first appt. with my OB tomorrow, but I don't think she usually does an u/s before 10 weeks. I'm told I'll probably be high-risk, though, due to HBP and a congenital kidney disorder, so there's a chance she'll do one. Either way, we have a consult and u/s scheduled for next week with the practice's high-risk group, so I'll definitely be getting one then. I didn't think it would happen before Christmas, so I'm super excited. I can't wait to see our little dude's H/B!

    I made an appointment with my regular doctor on Friday just to confirm the pregnancy.  It's like DH doesn't believe the two pregnancy tests that clearly showed we were pregnant.  Oh well.  :)  My first appointment with my OB is Jan 3.

    I too have a consultation with a physician's assistant this Thursday. I have a whole list of questions for her!


    My first OB/GYN appt with U/S isn't until 12/29 (which seems so far away!).

    I do, I do!! My ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow and I'm really excited. After my miscarriage I feel like I should be more nervous - which I may be tomorrow, but right now I just wish it would get here!

    I have my first appt. with the nurse, which basically means I fill out paperwork, get blood drawn, hop on the scale and pee in a cup. Nothing exciting. I have to wait until January 21 for confirmation that there's a living, heart-beating baby in there.

    First and foremost, good luck to all you girls who have their first appointments this week! 

    My first appointment was yesterday and it was amazing.  Thankfully, I have the best clinic and best doctor ever!  When they did the ultrasound i was terrified that there wouldnt be anything but then we saw the baby's heartbeat and....WOW, just WOW. It was the most amazing moment seeing that on the screen.

    LJR, I am sure your appointment will be wonderful tomorrow.  my thoughts and prayers are with you!

    I had my first appointment today!

    We had an ultrasound done. It was amazing. Such a relief that everything is going well up to this point. It was so exciting to see the heartbeat.

    I have an ultrasound with my RE on Friday. I can't wait. My parents get here Saturday so it will be great to have the U/S before we tell them. 

    I have an appointment with my OB on the 28th.
