Fever Question

What are the guidelines on when to call the doc about a fever again? Before and after meds...Thanks!

    I call anything over 101 or 102. They will tell you to give motrin or tylenol, it's a little more helpful if you have already given it and waited like 45 minutes to an hour- it should start to kick in by then.

    Fever is considered low grade if under 103. But my LO had a slight fever of 100 yesterday and the pedi had me come in just in case. They said to give tylenol every 4-6 hours as needed.
