Pediatrician recommendations ? Grand Rapids Twp?Cascade?Forest Hills area

Hi Ladies,

I've received a huge list of recommendations from my OB, but I'm a bit overwhelmed as to where to begin. As such, I thought some of you already mommies would have some great recommendations. Thanks so much!

    The website of my health insurance has ratings for each doctor.  Maybe that would help with your insurance carrier?  I don't have any recommendations for the area you mention.  Good luck!

    We see Dr Olgren at Forest Hills Pediatrics. She is great and the nurses are extremely nice. I've had to call in quite a few times and they are quick to get back with me.

    We love Dr. Mantia in Grandville- I live in Holland, and he is worth the drive! The entire staff is great, and Dr Besteman, the female doc there is so wonderful too!!! I highly recommend them- Grandville Pediatrics. We chose them because every time I asked around Dr. Mantia's name came up- thus far they have exceeded my lofty expectations. :) Good luck!

    We are with Cascade Pediatrics, Dr. Brown......our entire family (4 sisters kiddos-10 in all) have been going there for 20 years.....AND my Husband and his sisters went there as children. Highly recommended!

    Metro Health in rockford...worth the drive!!! Dr. Johnson (female) we can't say enough good things about her! She will be late to see you but she is worth the wait! She will spend all the time with you that you need. She even called us at home two or three time in the first week we were home with our little one just to make sure we were feeling ok! We brought her home on a billy blanket...she was ok but on the high side almost to the point of not going home! Our little one is 4.5-5 months now and we still love her!
