I bought Allie the Kidkraft pink retro kitchen from Amazon because it was cheaper on there than in any local stores. I paid $149, and now it is $113! That makes me mad...and reminds me why I should never go back and look again because now I have buyer's remorse!

I'll second that grr then because I too bought it from Amazon for $149!

There was a girl on the 12-24 month board who didn't even know that Kidkraft made one so similar to the PBK one and she actually bought the PBK one for her daughter!! $600+!! Now I bet she most definitely had buyers remorse

I've heard before that if you contact Amazon about an order for the item that was placed within the last 30 days, they'll refund the difference in price!

No, haven't started putting it together yet either...just opened it to make sure everything was there that needed to be there. I think that might be a this weekend project.

Have you taken it out of the box? DH returns Amazon orders all the time when he finds better deals. In fact, he did one just today {he orders almost all of his IT equipment through Amazon Prime}.

Just a thought- make sure you can return it and then order the one with the lower price...I'd do it in a heartbeat if I hadn't opened & assembled it yet!

This sounds like a good idea... as long as they will be pay the shipping for it to be returned. That box is so heavy, it would cost a fortune to mail it!
