3D ultrasound @ 24 weeks?

in 2nd Trimester
Anyone do a 3D ultrasound around 24 weeks?  If so, can I see the picture?  I am considering doing this because we were unable to determine the sex at my anatomy scan.  I'm just curious what the baby looks like at 24 weeks.  Thanks!

    I don't have one to post, but if you do a google image search, there are tons posted.  We are thinking of doing this too.  There are places that will give you a DVD of the session, and we thought it would be cool to have that to share with our families at Christmas.

    Thanks!  Not sure why I didn't think to just google it.  We're going to beg the doctor at our 24 week appt to do another ultrasound to check between the legs.  If he won't, we'll just pay for the 3D ultrasound.

    In my siggy is our 23w4d 4d U/S. The tech said we'll take more pics at the 28w u/s because the babies "will have more fat on them, so it makes for cuter pics"

    I was told 28 weeks, like pp said the baby will have more fat on him and we'll get better pictures.

    I was told by my doctor's office that 28 weeks is the best time, but if finding out the gender is most important for you, there's not really a reason to wait. However, if you want to find out the gender and have slightly cuter pics to share, you should try to wait a few more weeks.

    Ditto what the others have said. My OB office offers an elective 3D scan beginning at 28 weeks. I just scheduled mine today and I will be 30 wks when it is done.

    My OB always does 3D ultrasounds, however, it should be noted that 3D does not = to seeing the baby's gender.  I have appointments every month, and up to now don't know my baby's gender because he/she did not coperate..lol

    This happened to my friend as well; so this is something to consider.
