It Isn't a Competition
My aunt's friends just became grandparents in Sept. That kid is here visiting. According to the friend, "her baby is already practically walking."
Um, that kid is 3 months old. Then she asks me, "is K even crawling yet?" Obviously, I reply with no. Her response, "at least she is cute!"
I almost kicked her. This is the same woman who asked if I had gained weight when I was like 9 weeks pregnant. Apparently my aunt had told her, when we weren't telling people yet, and this was her way of getting me to spill the beans to her. Ugh.

OH but it so totes is a competition! I bet next month she'll be all potty trained! And then you can look at her and say "Yeah, well like you said, at least mine is cute"
