Yay! 28 weeks always felt like a milestone for me, I have a couple random milestones in my head. Still feeling really well, sleeping good and not noticing being pregnant except for baby moving a lot. I keep waiting for that uncomfortable period and thought it would come sooner than with #1, but am happy that it hasn't yet.
It's really cute b/c this baby responds to my DH's voice a ton more than my DS did. I keep on saying that this baby is just sucking up or is going to be a girl (daddy's little girl).
DS born via c/s 11/08 and med-free GD VBAC DD 3/11!
28 weeks today too! I can't believe there are only 84 more days to go. Time is flying by.
We are in the middle of moving to a new state so that makes things go even faster. Trying to find a new doctor hasn't been fun. Thanks to all of the Chicago mommies that gave me recommendation. It has certianly helped. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks we will be all moved into our new place, I will have a doctor and I can start getting ready for my sweet angels arrival.
Did you pick a new doc? I'm going to West Sub in Oak Park.
I had my DS at almost 41w so I always add at least 7+ days to my ticker since I know 40w means squat in my case.
I haven't picked one yet, but I did put in a call to a couple of the doctors that were recommeded. I have a question about West Sub- do they only do natural births? From what I can see from the website it looks like it. While I want to try to go as long as possible without an epi, I would like to have the option.
26 weeks... Sometimes it seems to be taking forever to get to meet my baby girl and sometimes it seems to be going too fast to get everything ready for her.
You can definitely have an epi at West Suburban, even with the midwives. You can't while in the ABC room, but the regular rooms are the same as any other hospital and you can always move to one of those. If you plan on using an epi you would just start out in a regular room.

Thank you. I just re-read some of their website and you are correct. I'm going to give them a call today.
28 wks today! I have been lucky this whole pg and have felt pretty damn good, so it's hard to be feeling aches and pains and like I'm lugging around an extra ton these days. But, I'm in overall good health which is all that matters. I just have to stop being so stubborn and trying to do everything myself.

28 weeks today. went in for my glucose testing. the drink wasn't too bad at all. it tastes like that cheap fruit punch you can buy 3 gallons of for like 50 cents lol. i start my appointments every two weeks now! so i already have to go back on the 28th. holy crap! then to top it off they told me we could go downstairs and register at the hospital and the lady gave us birth certificate forms to fill out and we're already signing forms for the baby and everything. holy crap! march is coming way too soon. im not ready!!!! (ok freak out over)
27 weeks today. I go in for GD testing this afternoon but I'm trying not to think about that part. Today I hope to get some big questions asked to my doc. I can't wait to hear Taryn's heartbeat!

Woot! 27 weeks for me today! It was kind of exciting (and scary) to see that the bump had kicked me over to 3rd trimester when I logged on today. I feel very unprepared so far; I'm glad I have Christmas break to get a little more ready!
