I got her a soothe and glow seahorse which I've read rave reviews about, bath toys, and just tons of little toys in general. You may have all of this though since she has a big sis.
yeah--we saved everything from sophia. i have found a few small things! ugh! i need new thing to wrap for Baby M!
Hmmm. Trying to help but not being too good at it lol. Do you have a Sophie? I have one for K but she isn't really grabbing toys yet, but everyone I've talked to has said their LO's LOVED Sophie. I'm sure she has plenty of toys but maybe this could just be a new toy?
We have literally NO baby books (we suck, I know). We have a bunch that are more directed towards toddlers, which shows how much I knew about babies before my son was born! They're regular paper pages, and I don't want to read them with him because he always tried to grab the pages and I'm scared he'll get a paper cut.
Anyway, after that novel - to answer your question, I bought a bunch of cloth/wood paged BABY books to read to him and let him play with. I was so excited I broke out a couple early, but the rest I'm saving for Christmas. I LOVE to read, and I want my son to love it also, so it's important to me to have educational toys like these.
I will be giving the v-tech activity ball and the penguin thing that he can bat at and it keeps popping upright (I know this has a name, but I can't think of it now).

we're doing the activity ball too.. it should be good in a few months.. and we also got her xmas movies on dvd. She won't enjoy them as much as her big sis and parents will.. be she will one day. It will solve the problem on xmas movies being on so late!

Toy cars! She likes to play with her brother's but he doesn't like it so much.. So I got her some Zoom zoom (or something) cars that rattle. I showed them to her the other night (I was about to wrap them) and she went nuts laughing...
The Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Kitchen! I showed it to her when we got home with it and she loves it already! I felt bad wrapping it up so I left it out and let her play with it a little each day until christmas
Re: which christmas gift are you most excited about giving LO?

I'm excited to give her everything! lol

His first teddy bear - it's a Steiff and I hope he'll have it his entire childhood!
But I"m sure he'll be more interested in his walker / activity table thing that santa is bringing him!
