Did you notice any side effects? I am starting it tonight to hopefully get me an LP longer than 9 days. I took Prometrium once to end a cycle and noticed I was exhausted so I'm expecting that, but is there anything else I should watch out for? This is my first time taking the supositories (sp).

Re: Those who have taken Progesterone
For me, I had like every textbook early pregnancy symptom: crabby, tired, sore boobs, big boobs, bloated, headache...
I didn't care for the progesterone supplements so much. I hope your experiences are better than mine!
ETA: Pads/pantliners are a must!
This was my first time taking Prometrium and the suppositories. I didn't really notice anything too different. I do think it helps the pregnancy symptoms along. My boobs were very full, bloated, irritable. Definitely buy some pads!
Oh! Occassionally, the Prometrium made me dizzy. It seemed to only happen if I took it and then didn't do anything besides sit around on the couch. If I was active, it seemed to stay away.

Aside from headaches and nasty discharge, I didn't really have any s/e. I mean, I was a hormonal wreck with every PG symptom in the book during my 2wws but nothing different than what I experienced with cycles where I didn't take Progesterone
Don't be surprised though if you get a bit of cramping or "tinged" discharge. The progesterone can irritate your cervix so it can cause a bit of spotting and cramping.

Thanks ladies!
I have a follow up question: How on earth do you hide the giant container with the supositories. I'm hosting Christmas on Saturday so people are going to be in and out of my fridge. I really don't want to have to explain what it is, but my family is super nosy and someone will ask.
