I had my follie scan today and I've got 2 follies right now. One is just over 13 and the other 13.6. I'm not happy, but not much I can do at this point but wait for them to grow I guess. I go back Thursday for another u/s to see if they are "big fat easy to find eggs" yet. My lining looks "lovely and thick" though. At least something is going right for the moment.
I've tried asking Dr. Google, but he's being tight lipped. Will both of these follies likely keep growing or will one shut the other down at this point? I hope they'll both keep growing! I need all the chances I can get.
I'm really worn down by all of this today. Hope left the building and I am wondering if I should just give up on ever having a baby. My body just won't cooperate.

Are you taking any meds? Are you doing an IUI? (Sorry - I'm sure you have mentioned this before, but I missed the posts.) If you are doing an IUI, you really don't want too many more follies because of the high risk of multiples. I think most RE's will cancel if you have more than 3 or 4 anyway.
The good thing for you is that they are about the same size. They will typically grow 1-2mm per day so you will probably be ready to trigger in a few days. When you do the trigger it will release all mature eggs so if both of these keep growing at the same rate you should have a good chance for success.
I hope that helps. Good luck!
I took clomid 5-9 this cycle and we are doing TI. I thought I remembered the 1-2 mm per day thing, but wasn't sure if both of them would still keep growing at this point.
Thank you.

If you aren't doing a trigger shot then I'm not sure if both will release or if it will just be the dominant one. Since they are similar in size then maybe they will still both release, but it could be that one will take over and become dominant. Either way, they seem to be a good size so you should have a good chance.

I'm sorry, I forgot to include that I've got my trigger just waiting for the follies to get big enough. She wants them to be 20 to trigger. We're hoping that Thursday they are big enough.
Thank you everyone for your hugs, and follie growing vibes!
