Update on me (PTL mentioned)

Hi Ladies! Sorry I've been MIA. I've tried to keep up on my BB, but responding and posting is a P.I.T.A. I'm still in the hospital. I got moved out of L+D and into Antepartum on Sat, and the contractions kicked back in yesterday afternoon. They were strong enough to take my breath away, but not "painful", although they were rythmic. On call ob ordered demerol and phenegran shot. While it relaxed my ute some, the contractions still came.. They gave me 10mg of ambien in hopes that getting me to sleep would relax my ute, but I'm still contracting. I have no idea if they've told my mfm, and my ob is out of office today, so the on-call ob has been treating me.While I'm hopeful things will be ok, I'd be lying if I told ya'll I wasn't freaking out rt now. Our first goal is 32w.. So let's see what happens. The on-call ob came, said they don't really have any options left to stop my contractions, my mfm would be the one to add something to the mix, if anything, and she said she would call them. -I'll keep ya'll posted!

ETA- on call ob checked my cervix, and still I'm still closed. Some contractions are less intense than others but for most part lost a bit of rythm.

Feel better and try not to freak out to much. You are in the right place getting the care you need and I'm sure the doctors want to get you past you 32 week goal. Sending T&P.
