I started celexa last Tuesday (so its been 6 days) and I feel awful.  Insomnia, nausea, headache.  How long did it take for the side effects to go away?  I have tried to take them in the morning and then for a few days I have taken them at night.  Its better at night, but I wake up feeling like poop!  :(

I now see why the doctor kept saying, "you have to stick with it, do you want to try it, you have to stick with it!"  anyone experience hardcore side effects?

    I'm on Celexa and had pretty bad nausea and tiredness the first two weeks or so - now I feel nothing except for lingering fatigue which is why I now take it at night instead of in the morning.

    I know, it sucks but you do have to stick with it to see if it will work...hang in there...

    It normally took 2 - 3 weeks for all of the symptoms to go away and as PP mentioned.  I also found it better to take it before bed.

    It took about 2-3 weeks for all of the effects to go away. In that time i went from taking it in the morning, to before bed.

    Now I take it in the morning again.

    Hang in there.
