Pregnant after a Loss

**cloud**

Hypnobirthing class was great, thanks!  There were several other couples, including one other couple with twins in our class.  The first class was mostly an intro to hypnobirthing and the basic philosophy behind it (its incredibly simple, really).  Then we watched a couple of videos of women giving birth using the techniques (amazing. Simply amazing) and then we practiced a couple of relaxation techniques.

We left feeling relaxed and very positive. I'm looking forward to next week!

  • Well, you know this is all assuming that these guys cooperate and head down! Right now they are both breech or tranverse and all over the place.  If Baby A doesn't head down in the next few weeks, I'm screwed. :-(
  • butting in...they didn't try to hyptonize you? If not, I am SO glad to hear that. I think it was really our instructor. Sounds like your first class went well.
  • Mrs. Ross, no, not at all...although at the end the instructor led us all in a relaxation exercise. It was similar to what you've probably heard before.. "Now imagine a place that you love..it could be a warm beach, or a secluded grove in a beautiful forest....now imagine yourself walking down a path to that place..and as you go, you can smell the flowers and trees around you...you can hear the wind passing gently through the trees...letting yourself become more and more relaxed with each step down the path..."

You know, that kind of thing. :-D
  • hope them kittens get to movin' the way they're supposed to!!! ?
