I am so jealous of you northern ladies! I know most of you guys aren't crazy about snow but which would you rather have? A white Christmas or 70 degree weather? Don't answer that. Trust me, it's not as nice as it sounds. It's hard trying to get into the Christmas spirit when you have the ac in your car turned on and you're wearing a short sleeved shirt in the middle of December.
Then I read a bunch of "I hate snow" comments and I get jealous! A few years ago it snowed down here in the south but it was such a light dusting that it melted once it hit the ground. Boo!
Other than that, I have never touched snow, built a snow man or had a white Christmas.![]()
P.S. Of course I say this now when I don't have anything to shovel or a car with a frozen windshield.
P.S.S, My son finally drifted off to sleep. Poor little guy ![]()
Re: Confession: I have never seen snow.

I am ok with the snow-it's the bitter cold I can't take. I live near Reems and when I ran to Walmart, the car said it was 3 degrees and that was without the windchill. I bet it was easily -10 at 6 pm.
But my kids will be the ones that will say they've never seen snow-at least for a little while. We are moving to Hawaii next month. I feel kind of bad when Betsy asks to go out and play in the snow-then I remember it's too cold to be outside.
I've seen snow and it's fun to visit, but I don't like cold weather and so I'm glad I live in Florida. I don't mind wearing shorts in the winter! It's freezing here today and I just want to stay in bed.
Big picture- I love snow, I love winter. As others said, it's when you have to work and drive in it that it really sucks.
Also, we've lived in the city for 11 years and have to street park. Big snow storm turn people into a$$holes when it comes to parking and saving spots, etc.
I'm in Baltimore and we were hit w/ that massive double whammy last winter and that just did me in. My office, which NEVER EVER closes for anything, was closed for 4 full days because of it.
We're moving out of the city this week and I can't wait. Even though it doesn't solve the problem of having to dig out, etc, at least the next time we get it w/ a storm, we won't have to fight for parking.
however, I still love snow. Actually, the first day or two of a big storm in the city is a BLAST. It's fun to walk the streets w/ the snow falling and pre-DS, it's a total blast to go hunker down in some bar w/ everyone else who is "stuck" in the city.
