DD keeps leaking out of her diaper during the night and I am so tired of washing sheets and comforters at 3:00AM. She now wears Huggies size 4 to sleep. Any better recommendations? Are pull ups any better? TIA
In my experience Pull Ups hold less than diapers. I know they make overnight diapers that are supposed to be thicker but we haven't used them. We are currently working on getting her to drink less about an hr before bedtime and making her sit until she goes before bed to hopefully get rid of the pull up at bed sooner than later!
is she in huggines OVERNIGHT diapers? If not- that is what you need. I'd go up a size, too.
your 3y/o is in size 4s? she must be a little peanut I would do size 5 huggies ON diapers... pullups are a little bit LESS absorbant... so do not use those. We only used them b/c DS1 outgrew size 6.
Thanks for the advice. She is now in Huggies Snug and Dry. She is almost 27 lbs at 3 years old! Strange how the size 4's claim to go up to 37 lbs, while size 5's start at 27 lbs. I guess I'll try the Overnights size 5 then. Thanks!

This. We haven't starting PT yet, but DS (27 months) pees a lot overnight and was always waking up with a soaked diaper. Before we switched to Huggies Overnights, he was completely soaking through his pajamas. Since we always bought Pampers diapers we tried Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Extra Protection and they were worse than the regular diapers. What helped was going up a size. He wears size 4 Pampers during the day and size 5 Huggies Overnights. Some mornings he still wakes up wet, but not nearly as often.

DS does not want to wear a diaper at night so we do pull ups. The ONLY brand (we have tried every one, I swear) that keeps him dry all night is Earth's Best Pull ups (the the alligator on the pull up). Its thick like a diaper. We also make DS go tothe bathroom twice before bed. He goes once before we begin our routine (usually before bath) then again like 30 minutes later right before bed
