Joovy Ergo Caboose anyone?

Has anyone used this?  What do you think?  Looking for double stoller under $400 that I can use my Graco Snugride with and I like the way the infant seat is in the back so DD will be able to still sit up front for a while until she can use the sit and stand.

  • We have one. It was awesome when baby was in the infant carrier... I preferred using our Bob after she outgrew it but just recently I went back to the Ergo and love it again. It's perfect for mall trips or anywhere else you'd expect the toddler to get out for any period of time. I love the storage space

  • I've been interested in this stroller as well, I just think it is soooo overpriced for what it is. If I decide to get a sit n'stand I think we'll wait a bit and just get the regula rJoovy Caboose or the Ultralight. Almost $400 for a sit n'stand is ridiculous IMO.

Keep in mind the quality is much better then any of the other sit'n'stands on the market. Is it worth $400? to us it was, to others it may not be but it def. should not be put in the same category as its competitors.

It would be like comparing a Bob jogging stroller to the Jeep brand of jogging strollers KWIM?

I havent seen the Ergo IRL, but I'm sure it is the nicest of all the sit n'stand type models out there. But considering you can get a regular Joovy Caboose for $129 or less and the Ultralight for $210, the Ergo just seems like a lot more at $359. Also, I've read reviews where people complain about the seat being hard and uncomfortable. They do sell seat padding, but then it is more $$.

To me $359 should include air tires and suspension, or something else. I recently ordered a Baby Jogger Summit XC Double for $372- good quality, air tires, suspension, awesome canopies and a great fold. I also ordered a BJ City Mini Double for $319.

But, if I was set on a tandem this is the one I would get. If I could find one for less than $200 I'd buy one, but I've been looking at them online for a while now and I've yet to see them discounted much at all.

  • I think it does include air tires actually. And a canopy for the stand portion. I'm looking at it, but not sold on it until I try it in the store. But a side by side won't work for me.

It does have air tires :). People don't realize from looking online but the quality of it really is better then any other sit'n'stand or a single Graco stroller.

We have the seat covers. I don't get why it's being sold without them... but they do make the seats comfy.

You should just look at the price tag. Figure out your needs first (comparing a sitn'stand to a jogger really isn't a fair comparison to either) and go from there.

We wanted a sit'n'stand that would take a carseat on the back and not on the front seat. This was the ONLY stroller available that met our standards (I believe only one other sti'n'stand allows you something like that... the one that has the option for two full seats as well but it's crappy)

We've paid hundreds for strollers we felt were worth it while we could have easily gotten something cheaper. Would it have been what we wanted though?? not really
