acupunture/fertility clinic pittsburgh pa

I'm a newbie to the nest! My hubby and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years, the past year we have recently began going to RHS near pittsburgh pa, with no success, were thinking about switching to mcgee hospital in pitts and also trying accupuncture! Any good/bad stoies about either!! :0)

    I see dr. Kubik at RHS. I've done research on all of the Pittsburgh clinics and RHS has better ivf stats and overall better staff andcqualuty control. We can't afford acupincuture on top of oop IF expenses. However, insurance covers chiropractic care and it is very equilivant to acupuncture. I see dr. Gurchak atbtranquality specific chiropractic, she has a high knowledge of IF.

    PS. We have been very happy with our care at RHS. I've had ups and downs, but not bc of the clinic. I realize that switching docs doesn't change our diagnosis.

    I just started at RHS and have heard all good things...including what Tiffany said (they have higher statistics for pg).  Though I do know someone who got pg after an IUI at Magee.   So, I guess it is wherever you feel more comfortable.

    TTC Since 10/2007 with no luck and a 'go with the flow' attitude
    1/1010 FINALLY decided to have testing done, dx MFI
    7/2010 - DH starts Clomid to increase testosterone and hopefully sperm count
    10/2010 - Still low (but improved) sperm count.
    11/30/10 - IUI #1 and only = BFN
    February 2011 - IVF #1 w/ ICSI =
    Chemical PG (Beta 1: 10, Beta 2: 19, Beta 3: 17) :-(
    April 2011 - IVF #2 w/ ICSI = BFN :-(
    September 2011 - IVF #3 w/ ICSI = BFFN
    November 2011 - AMH level tested - .83 (normal for age range)
    February 2012 - IVF #4 w/ ICSI = (best response ever yet still) BFFN
    April 2012 - DNA testing - NORMAL, RE suggests cycling again with own eggs or using DE
    On Break indefinitely...not sure we can afford the emotional and financial roller coaster anymore.

    I see Dr. Gabriella Gosman at Magee and I am happy with her. I have high FSH and she hasn't refused me any treatment yet even with my FSH numbers. I'm on IUI #3 now and used injects. I like the convenience of Magee. I've heard many great things about RHS as well.

    I went to acupuncture for three months at Chinese Acupuncture & Herbs in Mt. Lebanon and LOVED it. It brought my FSH down. I highly recommend it.

    Thanks for all the advise ladies.  I think i'm just ready to try something new and leave RHS. Ive been very depressed lately and maybe a new atmosphere will help me out a little. :-(.  We have unspecified infertlity and it kills me that theres nothing wrong but were still going thru this.  Good luck to you all !!!!
