I'm working on wrapping presents for Bella... let's not talk about how I haven't even started shopping for anyone else!! YIKES! Anyhow, I have a few clothes boxes (the ones they give you at Christmas time from dept stores) and I want to wrap her felt food. Should I just put like things in each box so she has more than one box? Otherwise I think there will only be 3 boxes total and her big gift... I was thinking to separate them so it seems like more, just in case she really enjoys unwrapping... I know I'm totally overthinking this! Any suggestions?
Re: Silly present wrapping question
Not silly...like you, we didn't get a lot of things for Libby so I've wrapped each piece individually, in case she gets a kick out of unwrapping. For example, I got her a set of 3 board books and wrapped each one rather than the three together.
Also, my friend gave me a great idea...buy a BIG roll of paper that will wrap "From Santa" gift(s). Be sure to hide it somewhere good so that in the years to come, LO won't find it. That way, every year, Santa's Gift(s) are always wrapped in the same, special paper. If you figure most kids find out about Santa between 6-8 years old, you'll need a good supply, but she said she just got a few of those JUMBO rolls and only uses it for the one gift from Santa to each of her kids each year (three girls) so it's worked out. If it's an oversized gift, like a bike or doll house, that is difficult to wrap, she uses the special paper to create the tags and bows on those.
