She sleep better last night

I had a mini vent on FB two days ago because Annabelle was sleeping more at daycare then at night. Yesterday I keep her home, my aunt watched her, she played almost all day, napped for 40 minutes in her crib. Then had lunch, and played hard for another 3 hours before falling asleep on a blanket in the living room for an hour. I'm thinking and I stressed this will DC today, that she can't sleep more then 1 hour at each nap, she gets two a day at DC. So we are really hoping that plan works out. I really want to start enjoying sleep again.

It would most likely help if she wasn't always getting sick. Bring on Spring, I'm done with winter and all the grossness it brings.

I just wanted to thank all of you ladies who responded to my questions.

  • I must have missed your vent?  How much was she sleeping at DC?  I would love for spring to get here again, it is a PITA to bundle John up, get him to the car, take of his jacket put him in his seat, go to DC, get him out, put the jacket back on.  UGh, I'm exhausted just typing this.

Oh and we found out that the 103 fever John had for like 5 days was roseola (sp?) so basically after 5 days of a really high fever that was really hard to control (even with tylenol it was still at 101), and after a nasty blood test, 2 pedi trips later.....the fever broke and he got a nasty rash on his face.  I am so ready for cold season to be over.

I was venting on FB. Sad I know. She was sleeping basically 5 hours at daycare.

Poor John. I'm sorry he is still not feeling well. I feel like we almost live at the Pedi office.

  • I am glad that she slept better for you.  I am surprised that they are giving her two naps at daycare!  Next time you are near a health food store get some elderberry syrup.  I have heard from many moms to try it and I just picked up some this week that had echinicea (I know I spelled that wrong) in it too.   I tried some myself and it made me feel better.  I am still fighting a cold but I am doing much better than dh who refused to take it!
