Is there such a thing as Baby Elbow?

Because I swear I have it. It feels like what I assume Tennis Elbow feels like, but I only ever wield M and not a tennis racket.

Am I alone in this?

Oh, and my back is killing me again.

Aren't I a ray of sunshine? Stick out tongue

Re: Is there such a thing as Baby Elbow?

  • Yes, there is a such thing and I suffer from it.  Ouch!

  • I had it. Sucked. Once I stoppped carrying Nate in the carseat carrier and just left it in the car and carried in him, it stopped hurting.

  • I don't know about baby elbow but my friend got carpal tunnel syndrome from carrying her baby.  Can you put M in a pack? The heavier S gets the more I've been wearing him around the house on my back (I have a Beco).

  • Up until a couple months ago, carrying Liam around was aggravating my carpal tunnel.  It made my hands ache like I had never felt!  I could totally see the same happening with any muscle in the arm or shoulder... it just depends on how you carry the little one :)

Honestly, I still carry him just the same but I think because he is bigger now, I am not wrapping my wrist around his (then smaller) body.
