My son was born 6 months ago, but I am just now getting around to posting his birth story. I know I read a lot of birth stories on the bump (before there was a natural birth board!) for inspiration and so I hope my story can do that for others.

Great story. I felt quite similar when trying to write my daughter's birth story. No words sound quite right. "there's got to be a better adjective/noun/adverb/whathaveyou" is what I kept thinking. You did a great job though! Maybe retell the story at his 1year birthday and see what words flow?

Lovely!

Planning a med-free homebirth in a birthing pool as well (if baby ever comes, that is) and this makes me feel confident about that choice.
