OOhh those might be good. If I dont have bread crumbs Ill take a couple pieces of bread, put them in the food processor til its really fine and then bake them for about 15 min til their golden brown. Works the same.

Oh, I've got your answer. My MIL found a recipe this summer and now it's the ONLY way anyone in our family will eat meatballs.
Rip up a piece of bread and in a small bowl, cover it with milk. Let the break absorb the milk. Then shred some onion. Add your fav seasoning. Mix it all together with some ground beef, turkery, whatever you have. BAM! Best meatballs ever.
The soaked bread and shredded onion serve as your binding ingredients and keep them so nice and moist.

Ditto Zed! I don't use breadcrumb unless I am making them in a pinch. My real way is to soak a few cubed slices (crust removed) of white bread in milk.
