  • I have no idea what that nonsense is on the top.

LOL...ummmm....I don't know. I'm not much help. I honestly cannot think of anything for Miles' stocking. He has several little cars, trains, etc. and I'm not giving an 18-month-old candy in their stocking.

I need ideas too. I'm hijacking your post.

  • Target has Christmas tree shaped DoodlePros for about $5 in their stocking stuffer area.  I picked up one for C. I usually put trains or cars into there as well as a dvd or two and a small pack of art supplies (crayons, color wonder stuff, paper, playdoh, etc).

  • I'm bad, but I buy stuff that the kids need anyway and stick it in their stockings!  haha...for example: new toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wash, detangling spray, lotion, chapstick, I might get Claire some nail polish, hair bows, crayons.  I always liked getting stuff like that in my stocking because it's funny to think of "Santa" bringing you things like toothpaste!

Thanks :)  Plus, I'm cheap with things like this, and it's a way to fill their stockings nice and full with stuff I'd normally buy anyway!

  • I forgot about the toothbrush.  We do that as well.  Also, we do a small package of goldfish crackers instead of candy.  He loves the crackers and still thinks of them as a treat.

    Wooden airplanes (Target $1)

    Littlest Pet Shop band-aids

Stuff that isn't actually going into the stockings, but is still considered "small gifts":

Books, coloring books, sticker books, Marker By Numbers for ML and Water Wow for TB, slippers, pajamas

ETA: I forgot, lots of chocolate.  I'm pretty strict about candy during the year, so I like to indulge them for the holidays.  H gets a motherload in his stocking every year too.  He finishes it all before noon.

  • We always do things like a new toothbrush, M&Ms, an orange, stickers, new markers, character band-aids, hair barrettes, socks, babylegs, chapstick, containers of play-doh, etc.
  • They're getting:

    -new toothbrushes

    -socks

    -books

    - art supplies (crayons or markers and Law has asked for some new coloring books.  He wants some scissors, too.  We don't have kiddie ones yet)

    -Target Dollar Spot trains

-shampoo & bodywash (one will get one, one will get the other)

-some Baker's chocolates (Law LOVES them and I wouldn't normally buy them, so it'll be a special treat)

  • Hot chocolate packets (I always got the Hershey's Kisses kind)Earrings
    iTunes card
    Pens/Post-it notes
    Hair things
    Book

    PlayDoh
    Small animal toys
Rocks (the ones you get it velvet bags in touristy spots - DD loves them)
    Markers/art supplies
    Mr. Potato head

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • The boys are each getting a DVD, a Jibbitz bracelet (filled with Jibbitz), and probably a candy cane-shaped package of m&m's.  I might also put their Spiderman/Batman t-shirts I got them in there...or Hotwheels or a new Thomas train.

  • These are all awesome ideas. Off to look up what a Jibbitz is though...
  • toothbrush and toothpaste (they love brushing their teeth)

probably some new Elmo foam soap

    Bandaids

    candy cane

for ds probably a train or some small lego set

for dd, a wand and probably a new crown (she thinks she's a princess and keeps pointing these out at Target)

    socks

and I'm drawing a blank now.

  • Bubbles, accessories for toys they already have (baby bottles for their dolls, little utensils for the play kitchen, etc.), art stuff (cool pens, Post-Its, etc. for K, not the baby!), play cell phones, keys, sunglasses, sippy cup for E, little bead necklace kit from Michaels ($1), tights....
  • I do pretty basic stockings-- no high-ticket items.

I have a 4 pack of PlayDoh for each to take up space, chocolate coins, socks, undies for DS, Dora bubble bath, new toothbrushes/toothpaste, a pair of tights for DD.
