Morning!
Tonight DH and I are going to an Ugly Sweater Christmas party at his sisters. My sweater is tan with pointsettia's (sp?), total Granny sweater! And all I could find for DH is a light purple Mr. Roger's sweater. (Any ideas how to make it better??)
Tomorrow... relax!

The sweater party sounds fun! We are planning on going car shopping today because we really need something with four wheel drive before the snow gets too bad. Then tonight is my company's holiday party so we will go there for a few hours where I have to pretend to drink...
Tomorrow all I plan to do is grocery shop and do laundry and lay around. I need a day like that!
Today is my birthday, so my DH and DS are taking me to brunch and possibly going to downtown Chicago to Navy Pier. We are worried about the weather though. And honestly, I am worried if I can make it through, I get tired so quickly.

Busy day today... making oreo and red velvet truffles, getting the Christmas lights on the house finally, going to see Harry Potter, and then dinner in downtown St Augustine to see the Nights of Lights.
Tomorrow I need to study for a test I have Monday, church and hopefully get the house cleaned up.
I am exhausted already!

We are cleaning the house today and have a 40th birthday party tonight and we are staying at a friends house after the party and coming home tomorrow. Tomorrow I am going to wrap presents and I might make some xmas cookies.

We were supposed to go to Minneapolis this weekend to see DH's college friends...unfortunately they already have 7 inches of snow on the ground, and are expecting up to 10 (!) more by tonight. Here we're under a blizzard warning from tonight through tomorrow, expecting 2-3 inches of snow and whiteout conditions from wind. DH is really disappointed.
This morning I may go get my blood draw so I can set up my first OB appointment (or I might wait until Monday)...other than that I'll be doing some online Christmas shopping and picking up the house.
Tomorrow night we're spending time with some really good friends who are visiting from Colorado. It'll be really hard not to tell!

Get him a woman's Christmas-y turtleneck. I got mine from Kmart. MH and I both got our sweaters from there too! They have plus sized woman's sweaters that fit MH!
If you don't want to buy anything you can wrap him in garland or hook ornaments to his sweater.
Can you tell we have an ugly sweater party that we go to every year!? lol
As for my plans, laundry and grocery shopping before going out to dinner tonight with MH
I'll be staying in doors. There are blizzard conditions here. We are expecting 20 inches of snow! I can barely see the neighbors house!
Luckily I have lots of cleaning and decorating to keep me busy.

this weekend, i am getting a car starter put into my mom's car as a surprise christmas present...told her a little white lie and swaped cars with her for the week....guess i'll be giving it to her early b/c i want my own car back!

We are driving 3 hours up north to "cold" weather (instead of gorgeous 80 degrees!)... we are going on The Polar Express... a train ride by the Grand Canyon the takes the kids on a night-time ride to the "North Pole"... Santa and his elves visit the train, and it should be lots of fun
We're going with grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, and friends... which will make it hard to keep quiet about my news! I'm not feeling great, nauseous and tired... so I hope I can keep up appearances! Only my parents know, and luckily they are good at keeping secrets 
I don't want to tell the rest of the fam until I've had my ultrasound on the 21st.

I have yet to put up Christmas decorations, and since we're snowed in, today is the day to get some things done!
Well since there is no college football anymore we have to actually get out an do something. I think we are going to Malibu for an afternoon picnic since its going to be 85* here today. Tomorrow we are grilling burgers and I cant wait!

We aren't doing much of anything this weekend. DH just went out to rent some movies and I think we will just hang out. Actually haven't gotten sick at all yet today, knock on wood. So I am just trying to take it easy and hope I can keep my food down.
We are in the ridiculous winter storm warning too. DS's dad just called to tell me he looked at the radar and we are supposed to get 6 to 10 inches with 40 to 50 mph winds. Lets hope it doesn't come true!
