Does anyone have this seat? Likes, dislikes?
I am thinking of getting one for my moms car and for daycare. Daycare has had his infant seat but he is almost at the height limit. They don't go out much but do have occasional field trips and her car seats are definitely past the expiration so I am not comfortable with him using those. Walmart has the Cosco for $79 for 2 seats so I thought they may be a good choice for grandma and daycare since they get good safety ratings and won't be used much.

We have this carseat. We got it for traveling and then to put in my moms car. It was a pain to get installed in the rental car so it didn't move around, but we got it. Right now its in the back of our 2 door car and we found that it secured much better and easier on the cloth seat then the leather.
If its going to stay-put in the car it will be fine once you get it secure. If its going to be going in and out, probably not the best choice.
This is definitely an extra seat...we have a Britax Boulavard and Evenflo Triumph for our two cars. He drives with my mom a couple times a month and daycare once a month, if that.

Then I think it would be fine for you to use as an extra.
We have four of them and have always liked them. Like the pp said, it's not a main seat, but it's great and cheap for an extra seat. I think the weight limit is pretty low - 40lbs maybe? - so keep an eye on that, but for the price, you'll get your money out of it. We have two for DH's car and two at my parents' house (in Florida) so we don't have to bring carseats on the plane when we go to them. We're probably going to buy another one for DS for DH's car if we can fit three in the backseat of the CRV. I've also moved one into my van when we were taking a friend home from school or something.
We have Marathons for the mini-van, which is what the kids ride in 90% of the time. These are great for "second" seats like if DH has to pick the kids up from school or anything like that. Perfect for around town.
FWIW - We never had trouble installing the seats in any car we've been in. We usually install them using the seatbelts not the latches because we tend to move them around a lot. Maybe that's the difference. Either way, they've worked for us.
I have to give this seat a terrible review. First it was a nightmare to install, took my DH forever and we had to use pool noodles, etc.
Second, it's SO hard to get my LO in and out. The straps are really hard to tighten.
I'm not sure about this b/c LO can't talk, but I think it's uncomfortable for him. He fusses a lot in there and there aren't any "accessories". If you're going to buy it, I'd purchase the shoulder pad things because the regular straps make red mark on his neck.
Sorry, but I hate it. I wish we would have bucked up and got one a little nicer. It's only in DH's truck so we don't use it often, but when we do, I am not happy about it.
We bought one for DH's car since 99% of the time he's in the Britax in my car. I could not see spending $$ on another carseat that will only be used a few times.
I had no problems installing it. It is very secure and gets the job done. It's not as padded/comfy as other carseats, but he's not in it for long trips, usually just picking him up from MIL's house 5 min. away.
If you can get 2 for $79 I say go for it! It got a B+ from Baby Bargains...it says "This simple seat is our top pick for that little-used second car or Grandma's vehicle."
